Candidate Contacts Chart
I have created the chart above (and in the right hand navigation) to show the number of contacts that I personally receive from each of the York Central Candidates.
As contacts I am counting leaflets, letters, emails, phone calls, knocking on my door or accosting me in the street. I will not be counting any attempts at contact though this blog though. What I am interested in is the amount of contact that an ordinary voter in York Central gets from each candidate.
I am using the beginning of this week as the starting point. So far I have had 1 leaflet each from the Liberal Democrats, Greens and Labour. I will update the chart periodically through the next few weeks up to election day.

Could you upload photographs or scans of the leaflets to http://thestraightchoice.org ? We are trying to build an archive so we can do the same sort of monitoring as you on a national scale.
ReplyDeleteHaven't had a thing yet in Leeman Road..
ReplyDeleteOh.. You moderate comments then?
ReplyDeleteNot the best way to promote your impartiality..
All comments get referred to me for moderation so I can filter out the spam trying to sell viagra and fake rolex watches.
ReplyDeleteIf you skim through the comments on this blog you will see various ones disagreeing with me and pointing out errors I have made. As yet I have not moderated or refused to publish any comments on this site unless they are obvious spam. I know there is no way for you to verify that but you will just have to belive me.
That's good then!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I wasn't trolling you, I think you're providing a much needed view into the window of what's going on around York during the run up to the election, and I will be keeping my eyes on here for news and updates!
Anything I can do to chip in or help out (As an impartial member of a party that is not standing in this election.), please let me know.
Good luck!
Cheers!
ReplyDeleteOnly one Labour leaflet through the doors on Nunthorpe road. Where is everyone else?
